1950 to 1969 BMWs Oz and Nz Facebook Group in conjunction with the Highland Restorers Club Club, based in Yungaburra, brings together an event to celebrate the ownership and riding pleasure of airhead BMW motorcycles. The event will be staged at the Atherton Tourist Park which offers cabin, caravan and camping options for participants. The event involves a range of full day, half day and short rides which help riders enjoy the many riding opportunities and tourist attractions on those rides. Participants will be encouraged to join up with friends old or brand new to share the experience of owning and riding an air head BMW. The organisers, based on previous experience, would recommend that groups be kept small so as to avoid creating frustration for other road users who would potentially be held up by riders on older machines. If you have an air head BMW and would like to join other owners for this event you need to do two things. 1. Send your email to Mal at malmac69@pm.me who will include you on the email group for this event. This will ensure you are kept abreast of any changes that might occur or further information on the program and available rides. 2. When you have decided you would like to attend you need to book your accommodation or make local arrangements to that effect.
